The Restaurants

The restaurants within CityWalk typically serve both lunch and dinner; however, many are open late and are ideal for late-night snacks or meals (after visiting a club or seeing a movie). If you're traveling with children or underaged teens, arrange for baby-sitting services at your hotel so that the adults you're traveling with can enjoy the nightlife offered at CityWalk.

The Hard Rock Café

This is the world's largest Hard Rock Café. It offers seating for 2,200 people and often features live entertainment by top-name artists. Of course, this Hard Rock Café also offers an extensive rock memorabilia collection. The dining room is open from 11:00 A.M. to midnight daily. Don't forget to drop into the gift shop for official Hard Rock Café Orlando merchandise.

FAST FACT

For a flat fee of $9.95 per person, unlimited access to all of CityWalk's clubs and bars is available. For $15, admission to the clubs and bars is included along with one Universal Cineplex movie ticket.

The Hard Rock Café Live arena offers seating for 2,500 and live entertainment nightly. There is a cover charge to see the Hard Rock Live house band. The ticket prices vary for national acts that perform at this venue (primarily on the weekends).

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville

This is a family-oriented restaurant by day, but at night, adults will enjoy the three full-service bars. The menu offers a combination of Key West and Caribbean-style foods, known as Floribbean cuisine. Fruits, vegetables, and seafood are the various entrées' main ingredients. The restaurant is open from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 A.M. daily. There's a $3.25 cover charge after 10:00 P.M. Live musical performances begin at 10:00 P.M. Emeril's Restaurant Orlando

You've seen Emeril Lagasse on TV's Food Network as the host of Emeril Live. Now, this world-renowned chef has a permanent home in Orlando, where New Orleans Creole-based cuisine is served. The wine cellar houses over 12,000 selections. Lunch is served daily from 11:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Dinner begins at 5:30 P.M. and is served until 10:00 P.M. (Sunday through Thursday) and until 11:00 P.M. (Fridays and Saturdays). Within the restaurant is a gift shop that sells Emeril's New Orleans Cooking and Louisiana Real & Rustic cookbooks, plus his own line of spices and plates.

The restaurant also houses a cigar bar containing a wall-sized humidor. The dining room seats 250 people. This restaurant appeals mainly to adults.

TRAVEL TIP

While the food is top-notch, the prices at this award-winning restaurant are rather steep. Due to the restaurant's popularity (and Emeril's huge fan base), reservations are an absolute must to avoid a several-hour wait. Call (407) 224-2424.

The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

This restaurant gets its name from the movie Forrest Gump. “Run Forrest, Run!” It's a family fun restaurant that features shrimp, shrimp, and more shrimp. The restaurant serves other foods items as well and is decorated with Forrest Gump memorabilia. Open for lunch and dinner every day.

Bob Marley — A Tribute to Freedom

Set in a Jamaican atmosphere, this one-of-a-kind restaurant celebrates the music, style, and philosophy of Bob Marley. The venue is part museum (featuring over 100 photographs and portraits of Marley), part restaurant, and part nightclub.

On the menu, you'll find Jamaican jerk chicken and roasted plantains. Live reggae music is presented nightly. The full-service bar offers island drinks and Red Stripe beer. Dinner is served nightly (Mondays through Fridays), between 5:00 P.M. and 1:30 A.M. On weekends, the restaurant is open 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 A.M. There's a $4.25 cover charge after 8:00 P.M. to enter the bar. Live musical performances begin at 8:00 P.M. This restaurant/bar will appeal mainly to adults. NBA City

NBA City is a colorful, basketball-themed restaurant endorsed and licensed by the National Basketball Association. This is a joint venture between the Hard Rock Café and the NBA/WNBA, so you know it offers a hip place to eat for basketball fans of all ages. The menu offers a wide range of entrées from burgers to sandwiches. Open from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 A.M., this is definitely a family-oriented restaurant that also contains a gift shop that sells official NBA and WNBA merchandise.

Patamoré

This open-air marketplace café environment offers authentic Italian cuisine served à la carte or family style. Open from 8:00 A.M. to midnight (marketplace area) and 5:00 P.M. to midnight (restaurant area), pizzas, grilled chicken, and steaks, plus pasta, pastries, and sandwiches are served. Full bar service is available.

The Motown Café

Music and memorabilia from top Motown artists are what you'll hear and see throughout this unique restaurant. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Supremes, the Temptations, and other music legends as you enjoy slow-cooked American cuisine and live entertainment. An in-house singing group performs many of Motown's classic hits live onstage every twenty minutes.

This restaurant will definitely appeal more to adults with an appreciation for Motown's music and history. It is open Sundays through Thursdays between 5:00 P.M. and midnight, and Fridays and Saturdays between 5:00 P.M. and 2:00 A.M. There's a $5.25 per-person cover charge to visit the bar after 9:00 P.M.

The NASCAR Café

No matter how old you are, if you're a NASCAR racing fan, you'll appreciate this themed restaurant. It's jam-packed with NASCAR memorabilia that's displayed throughout the dining room and all public areas. In addition, there are full-size stock cars on display, plus video monitors showing NASCAR racing highlights.

Open from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., in addition to the dining room, this restaurant offers an arcade area and a gift shop. Like the Hard Rock Café and NBA City, this is a fun, family-oriented restaurant that tends to get crowded during lunchtime and early evenings (for dinner).

Pat O'Brien's

Modeled after the famous New Orleans watering hole, Pat O'Brien's is suitable for adults, over the legal drinking age. Every evening, guests are entertained by dueling pianos and sing-alongs. A fullservice bar is offered. Dining hours are between 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 A.M. daily in the main bar and courtyard. Guests must be over the age of twenty-one to enter after 7:00 P.M. There's a small cover charge to enter the dueling piano bar, which is open (and features live music) between 6:00 P.M. and 2:00 A.M.

In addition to the themed restaurants, CityWalk contains a unique assortment of shops. Whether you're looking for something to do for an hour or an entire evening, chances are you'll be pleased with what's offered at CityWalk.

The Latin Quarter

This area offers food and entertainment inspired by twenty-one Latin American nations. Dining and dancing are offered late into the night as guests are entertained by music from Central America, South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. It is open from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 A.M. There's a small cover charge after 10:00 P.M.
