What to Do in the Downtown Orlando Area
Downtown Orlando has an exciting nightlife with many bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. The main route through downtown is Orange Street, which is known for its nightlife and its many skyscrapers. Downtown Orlando is also home to the Amway Arena, which hosts the Orlando Magic NBA team.
Antique Row
Antique Row and Ivanhoe Row on North Orange Avenue (stretching from Colonial Dr./Hwy. 50 to Lake Ivanhoe) in downtown Orlando is filled with many shops showcasing an interesting assortment of the old, the new, and the unusual.
Lake Eola Park
Lake Eola is the most popular place downtown. There's a lake with a sidewalk that circles it, a beautiful fountain that lights up at night, large swan paddle boats, romantic Gondola cruises, a Chinese gazebo, an amphitheater for plays and concerts, a state-of-the-art playground, a snack bar and other lakeside dining, beautiful landscaping, swans, ducks, birds, and squirrels. Orlando Improv
The new Orlando Improv is the premier comedy nightclub and café. Located on Orlando's historic Church Street, the Improv is surrounded by excitement, culture, and a great atmosphere. This comedy theater offers dinner during the show if you desire. You can choose from salmon, pasta, chicken, or steak. Orlando Science Center

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art
This museum houses the world's most comprehensive collection of the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933), including Tiffany jewelry, pottery, paintings, art glass, leaded-glass windows, lamps, and the chapel interior he designed for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The Museum's holdings include a major collection of American art pottery and representative collections of late nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century-American paintings, graphics, and decorative arts. The Mennello Museum of American Art

The Orlando Museum of Art
One of the South's best museums, it houses a permanent home for collections of American art from the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries, including works by world-renowned artist Georgia O'Keefe and photographer Ansel Adams. The museum also holds an impressive collection of Art of the Ancient Americas, including artifacts from the Aztecs and many other cultures, as well as an extensive collection of ceremonial and utilitarian African art. Winter Park
Winter park is an upscale artsy community. It was once the winter playground for the northern snowbirds. It's nestled around three beautiful lakes connected by canals. There are fine old homes, museums, parks, and gardens. Park Avenue, the heart of the city, boasts galleries, unique boutiques, and fine restaurants.
