Rafiki's Planet Watch

Especially for young people (age fifteen and under) this area of Disney's Animal Kingdom will encourage education and exploration. Ages sixteen and over should spend their time seeing other parts of the park. The focus is on conservation and protecting our planet and its wildlife.

The Conservation Station

This facility combines hands-on displays, live animal displays, and a chance to see some of the park's veterinary facilities, animal nurseries, and even where some of the food for the animals in the park gets prepared. Upon arriving at Conservation Station, guests can roam freely and see everything at their own pace. Plenty of animal experts are on hand to answer questions and conduct various types of demonstrations.

FAST FACT

This is one of the most educational areas of Disney's Animal Kingdom. Some of the live animals you'll see include aardvarks, chinchillas, a miniature donkey, great horned owls, porcupines, guinea pigs, and a rock hyrax. Young guests can also pet some of the animals; however, feeding them is strictly prohibited.
