ô This is a must-see attraction.

TRAVEL TIP

Expedition Everest is in the “right” back corner of the park and the Kilimanjaro Safaris is in the “left” back corner of the park. To mark both these off your list early, send your party to the Safari line while you get a FASTPASS for everyone at Expedition Everest. Then head over to the Safari tour line, find your party, and afterward you can walk to the front of the line at Expedition Everest.

The Caravan Stage is an outdoor theater that holds about 1,250 guests. No food or beverages are allowed in the theater. Be sure to arrive between twenty and thirty minutes prior to a posted showtime to guarantee yourself a seat for the performance of your choice.

This show presents a story about a character named Luke who is in search of lost treasures. Kids especially will enjoy this show, although it is entertaining for people of all ages. The show itself lasts about twenty-five minutes.

In addition to Expedition Everest and DINOSAUR! Kali River Rapids is another thrill ride that's designed for teens and adults. Guests ride in six-passenger rubber rafts and slide down a raging and winding river through rapids and waterfalls. This is definitely one of the most popular attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom, so be prepared to wait in line to experience it. Also, be prepared to get soaked! (If you're carrying items that aren't waterproof, be sure to store them in lockers, leave them with someone not riding this attraction, or use the watertight storage compartment on the raft.) Guests must be at least 40 inches tall to experience this rather turbulent ride.

TRAVEL TIP

To save time waiting in line for Kali River Rapids, be sure to take advantage of FASTPASS. If you have one of the Disney ponchos, be sure to wear it on this ride to help you stay dry. As a bystander, it's possible to shoot water at guests experiencing the ride.

“Finding Nemo — The Musical”

Ages 16–Adult:

This show is similar to the black light show, “Voyage of the Little Mermaid,” at Disney-MGM Studios, but with Nemo and friends. However, “Finding Nemo — The Musical” is on a much larger scale. This is the first time Disney has taken a nonmusical movie and spun it off into a musical show, so all the songs are new to long-time lovers of this charming movie.

Maharajah Jungle Trek

Here's an opportunity to wander down jungle paths, explore temple ruins, and see some of the world's most exotic and powerful animals — Bengal tigers, Komodo monitor dragons, gibbons, and an assortment of other wild animals that are native to Asia. There are some excellent photo opportunities along this trail.
