Guest Services

As if having the facilities and built-in entertainment venues and offering countless activities isn't enough, each ship is operated by a crew of almost 1,000 people (representing over fifty countries) who are totally dedicated to providing superior Disney-style service to all guests.

Other services aboard the ships include complete photographic services, complete laundry and dry-cleaning services, satellite telephone service, modern medical facilities, a twenty-four-hour front desk service, fax and secretarial service, and conference facilities for groups of up to 120 people.

TRAVEL TIP

Once you book your cruise, pay attention to the two-suitcase (plus one carry-on) baggage limitation per person and pack accordingly. Leave space for your souvenirs! Be sure to keep any medications, tickets, your passport, a change of clothes, and toiletries with you in a carry-on.

When traveling on Disney Cruise Lines, satellite telephones are available in every stateroom; however, the price per minute for making calls is extremely high. Public phones are available in Nassau; however, making an international call to the United States, even if you're using a calling card, is both expensive and time-consuming. So, plan on sending postcards rather than calling your friends and family back home.

A somewhat less expensive alternative is to visit the onboard Internet Café and send e-mails home to friends, coworkers, and relatives. There's a charge of seventy-five cents per minute to surf the Web while aboard the ship; however, for a flat fee of $39.99 (for a three- or four-night cruise) or $89.99 (for a seven-night cruise), unlimited Internet access is available.

Disney Cruise Lines truly offers something for everyone. Whether you're looking to schedule activities every minute of the day or night, or you just want to kick back, relax, and enjoy the sunshine, the options are plentiful. With various activities, baby-sitting services, and supervised camplike activities for kids and teens, parents can easily find romantic “alone time” together, in between experiencing quality “family time” aboard the ship.
