Finding a hotel in Honolulu might seem intimidating, given the sheer number of choices, but price and location tend to be prime consideration. FAST FACT
There are a few major hotels on Oahu that are outside of Honolulu, like the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore and the Marriott Ko Olina properties in west Oahu. They really do have a different ambience than the Honolulu scene, yet aren't outrageously far from the big city or the airport.
