Getting Around
Molokai's main airport, Ho'olehua, is located near the center of the island and about 8 miles from Kaunakakai. You won't find any direct flights to Molokai from the mainland, but it's not difficult to get there.
By Air
You can fly to Molokai from other islands:

By Sea
The Moloka'i to Maui Ferry provides transportation between those two islands aboard the Moloka'i Princess, leaving from Lahaina, Maui, and arriving at Kaunakakai. The ferry makes one roundtrip a day on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. www.molokaiferry.com
On Land
There are some nice paved roads on the island. The main thoroughfares include Route 450 (Kamehameha V Highway), running from Kaunakakai along the southeast coast; Route 460 (Maunaloa Highway), heading west; and Hwy. 470, venturing north (Kala'e Highway). FAST FACT
There are many who believe that Molokai is the birthplace of hula and the location of its first school. Such a reputation is bolstered every year with the Ka Hula Piko hula festival held each May.
