Getting Around

Maui has three airports. The major jet port is found at Kahului, and two smaller airports can be found at Kapalua: in the northwest and southwest, at Hana. Cruise ships stop in at the port of Kahului.

With the advent of many nonstop flights, getting to Maui is now easier than ever. The following airlines fly nonstop from the mainland to Kahului:

    Should you be on Lanai or Molokai, there are ferries traveling to Maui from those islands.

  • TRAVEL TIP

    There is no regular bus service on Maui, so if you want to visit the island's many attractions, it's best to rent a car. Alternatively, you can ask your hotel if they have a shuttle bus to and from the airport or if they can suggest van or limo arrangements to get you to your destination.
