Whale Watching, Snorkeling, and More
A number of companies offer snorkeling adventures and during whale season, they'll take you out to see if you can get a peek at the giant creatures. A great snorkeling and diving spot is the crescent-shaped little island of Molokini, which is a remnant of a submerged volcanic cone. The area is protected as a marine life conservation district, and the underwater views are spectacular. Don't expect your boat to be the only one in the area there; it really is very popular.
