Discounts on Disney Tickets

Check the combination ticket options at the end of this chapter for some of the best ways to save on Disneyland admission, but these ideas may also help:

  • Age is important. Children under three years old get in free and senior citizens over sixty years old get a $2 discount on a one-day, one-park ticket.

  • Flexible travel schedules can help, too. For the past couple of years, Disney has offered special discounts January through April, discounting adult admissions to the child's price level.

FAST FACT

Some people buy five-day Hopper tickets, use two or three days and sell the remaining days on eBay. Disneyland's policy on multiday tickets is that they are for use by the same person for all days, are not for resale and not transferable, and this option is not recommended.

  • If you are an AAA, AARP, or California Teachers Association member, your organization may offer discount tickets.

  • Active-duty military, Reserve, National Guard, retired military, and Department of Defense employees can get a discount that varies by time of year. Bring your ID to show at the gate.
