WHEN DISNEYLAND OPENED IN 1955, visitors entered through Main Street, U.S.A., just as they do today. The original four lands were Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, and Fantasyland. Today there are eight different lands for the Disneyland visitor to explore, from the Wild West to the worlds of the future. This chapter will discuss the “lay of the lands” and also where to shop and eat while in the park.
