If someone you're traveling with is celebrating a birthday when you're at Disneyland, go to City Hall in Disneyland or Guest Services in California Adventure and tell a cast member. The celebrant gets a special button to wear, and cast members will wish him or her happy birthday throughout the day. People of any age can pick up a birthday button, and kids get a special phone greeting from Mickey.

Elsewhere, you can arrange for a special Disneyland Birthday Party at the Plaza Inn, complete with special guest appearance by Mickey and Minnie. At full-service restaurants, the birthday boy or girl gets a Sorcerer Mickey or Princess Birthday Bucket, topped with a mini-cake and filled with a cloisonné pin and other treats, and Goofy's Kitchen offers a special Birthday Bag.
