Mickey's Toontown
All of Toontown looks like a giant cartoon, from the flat painted hills in the background to the cars on the street, the light posts, and the wobbly Jolly Trolley.
JUST FOR PARENTS
Mickey's Toontown often closes earlier than the rest of Disneyland because of preparations for the fireworks show. Be sure you get there early enough so the kids can see everything.
Families with small children will enjoy spending time in Toontown.

Chip 'n Dale's “branch” office is a walkthrough attraction where kids can run upstairs and check out the cheerful chipmunks' digs, and work off their excess energy. If they don't linger, it will take them about ten minutes to go through the whole place.
The treehouse is suitable for all ages, but because it requires climbing stairs, guests must be ambulatory to enjoy it.

Everyone knows Donald Duck, but did you know he has a passion for sailing? Donald keeps his colorful, cartoon-like boat, the Miss Daisy, docked (on land) in Toontown. Young guests can explore the boat, climb rope ladders, turn the steering wheel, and pretend they're sailing the high seas with Donald.

Named for Gadget, the mouse in the Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers series, this brightly colored roller coaster was created just for Disneyland's young guests. It's a gentle ride suitable for children over 35 inches tall, but it's still a roller coaster with turns and dips and comes with all the standard cautions for people who might have problems with the movement.
FAST FACT
At the entrance of each ride with a height limit, you'll find a measurement device. If there's any question, the cast members will use it to decide if your child is tall enough to ride. They know all the tricks; don't try to fool them.

In Goofy's Playhouse, kids can kick off their shoes and bounce around…literally. This is one place where they can climb all over the furniture without getting in trouble and peek through rope-covered windows to see their parents and other onlookers.
Jolly Trolley
For a quick tour of Toontown, hop aboard the Jolly Trolley, a fun (and somewhat bouncy) ride that will take you from one end of this cartoon-like town to the other. It's a short trip but exciting for kids.

If you want to meet Mickey Mouse during your Disneyland visit, head to Mickey's Toontown. Kids (and their parents) can be Mickey Mouse's personal guests as they explore his house. After looking around and walking through Mickey's costume closet, visitors get a chance to meet Mickey in person.
You're guaranteed to meet Mickey, so lines are often long during peak times of the day.

Being the ultimate hostess, Minnie Mouse loves to meet and greet her guests as they tour her house. The imaginative house is as cute outside as it is inside, and it looks like a cartoon come to life. Minnie's House is entertaining for everyone, and kids seem to especially like the kitchen, where they can turn on the dishwasher and watch it spin.

Based on the animated film Who Framed Roger Rabbit? this is Toontown's most popular ride and the one most likely to appeal to adults.
Although not a roller coaster, this ride makes a lot of quick turns as guests travel in taxi-like vehicles past scenes from the film. It's fast-moving but not at all scary, and riders can control how much their vehicle spins. The whole trip takes three and a half minutes.
The wait can be quite long, but you can fend off boredom by looking around the nicely decorated waiting area, examining Jessica Rabbit's dressing room and eavesdropping on some plotting weasels. Waits can be more than forty minutes, but using a fastpass can shorten that.
