“a bug's land”
Designed mostly for younger, smaller guests, “a bug's land” depicts the world from a bug's point of view, as inspired by animated film A Bug's Life.
You'll often find Flik and Atta greeting guests near the entrance to Flik's Fun Fair, which features a number of very cute rides suitable for almost anyone:

Francis's ladybug-shaped vehicles move much like the teacups in Disneyland, with riders controlling how fast they spin. Three to four riders can sit in each “bug.” The ride lasts ninety seconds.
TRAVEL TIP
If your party includes only adults and older children, you may be tempted to pass right by Flik's Fun Fair, but don't do it. Even if you don't want to ride anything there, it's worth a brief visit to see the cutest rides and decorations in all of California Adventure.

Featuring characters from the Disney/Pixar animated film, the 3-D show plays in a custom-built theater that harbors some unexpected effects. It will appeal to everyone who liked the movie. It's lighthearted, visually rich, and the extra-special effects are extremely realistic.
JUST FOR PARENTS
It's Tough to Be a Bug! includes some noisy scenes, a few moments of darkness, and some realistic effects that may scare younger children. If you're not sure how your youngsters will react, go all the way to the far side and back of the auditorium when you enter so you can make a quick escape.

Unlike the bumper cars at the local county fair, these buggies are very slow and gentle, but the kids don't seem to care. The ride lasts two minutes, and riders must be at least 36 inches tall. This ride may not be suitable for people with conditions that might be affected by all the bumping.
