Fort Lauderdale, along Florida's Gold Coast, is best known for the wild beach parties once held during Spring Break, but those days are long gone as the resort “Where the Fun Never Sets” is now more of a family place. It's least known for its Spanish-style mansions that hug the banks of canals jutting into the Intracoastal Waterway, giving the city the nickname “Venice of America.” But it still attracts sun worshipers who come to get bronzed, reel in some big fish, and play golf and tennis.
