Parents can breathe a sigh of relief as they hit the slopes knowing kids want to hang at the Treehouse because it's just more fun.

While adults enjoy cruisers, glades, terrain parks, and half-pipes throughout 21 lifts and 91 trails, kids can learn to ski and relish time in the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center. For infants ages eight weeks to 18 months, day care is available in the Butterfly Meadow Room. Toddlers spend their time in the Trout Haven Room and Beaver Lodge, an aquatic-themed indoor play area and forest-themed play area with immediate access to a play yard outdoors. Preschoolers stay in the Fox Den Room, which has a crawl-through tunnel and science and nature themes.

The first floor of the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center is a 700-square-foot Aspen Climb Room complete with safety netting and built-in discovery places. The Bear Den Room welcomes older preschoolers and features a storytelling and puppet theater, direct access to two magic carpet ski areas, and a loft for napping. The Eagle Peak Room serves several purposes, including ski and snowboard school rentals, Four-Mountain Kids retail store just for kids, and kitchen and lunchroom.

Family-friendly lodging in the Aspen/Snowmass area includes the Silvertree Hotel at Snowmass Village and Aspen's Limelight Lodge.
