Spirit communication is all about transmitting, receiving, and interpreting information accurately. Giving names might prove spirits' identities. They seldom give us “name, rank, serial number.” They impart much more information in a variety of ways, such as by telling secrets, identifying objects, and even exposing causes of death, which may not always agree with the coroner's report. Many statements given by a spirit carry additional information that must be interpreted by the medium. It is the medium's challenge to gather the information and present it in a way that the intended recipient will understand the message.
