Holidays are a time to embrace the people you love and care about, not the time to be distant or shun them. That's why people feel all warm and fuzzy when they think back to the holidays they spent during their childhood. There were always lots of people around and, ideally, lots of people having fun. As an adult you may not think of the holidays this way—often there's more stress than there is fun, especially when you're hosting a holiday celebration. However, if you keep the idea of including others and good manners in mind, then your heart and your holiday demeanor are sure to both be in the right place.
