Orange Pineapple Sunny Beverage
Some people are repulsed by juice with pulp in it, but that pulp has valuable nutrients in it that can assist in improving your respiratory system.
INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 1 SERVING
1 whole orange or 1 cup fresh-squeezed with pulp
1 cup chopped pineapple, papaya, or kiwi, or a mix
½ banana
1 cup water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 scoop whey protein powder, or ½ cup soaked and softened walnuts, almonds, or hazelnuts
2–3 ice cubes, if desired for “iciness”
Grated fresh ginger, cinnamon, or cayenne pepper, to taste (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve.
