People are fascinating subjects. Part of what makes them so interesting to draw—their variety and individuality—is also what makes them so difficult to draw. There are no rules or formulas that are of much help with figure drawing, as every person and every pose is so unique. It's important not to feel anxious when drawing people. Take a mental step back and look at people as a collection of shapes and values, and you'll soon be drawing them as confidently as any other subject.
