What to Do with the Body

For thousands of years, people have accorded dogs the same rites of death they had for themselves. Dogs have been found in graves buried with people, and the Egyptians mummified dogs so they would be with them in the afterlife. Your dog can be cremated or buried in a pet cemetery or, sometimes, on your own property. There are other alternatives as well, including having your dog's ashes transformed into a diamond.
