Pets
We think of our pets as members of our families, so it's not surprising that we love to include their images in our photo albums. Candid shots work especially well, since it is hard to keep your dog or cat sitting at attention for very long. You can try using a squeaky toy to draw their attention toward the camera, or wait and snap a candid shot the next time your child is playing with your dog. Move outdoors for good action shots, such as running at the beach.
Although cats and dogs are the most popular household pets, don't over-look the hamster, bird, or gerbil that calls your house home. Smaller animals can figure in your photography plans. Even fish in an aquarium can produce interesting pictures; take time to play with the quality of light in water.
