Downloading refers to the transfer of images from your camera's storage medium to storage located on a computer or other device. Downloading is accomplished by connecting the camera directly to the computer using a cable, or removing the medium, usually a memory card, from the camera and inserting it into a special reader. You may have more problems with downloading than any other aspect of digital photography, so understanding the ins and outs of this procedure is important.
