Sweet Honey Apricot Chicken

The enzymes in the honey aid in digestion of food, especially raw sugars and starch.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons apricot preserves
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  1. Blend honey, preserves, and ginger and brush mixture onto chicken.

  2. Heat remaining mixture in small saucepan and set aside.

  3. Grill or broil chicken about 8 to 10 minutes on each side until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.

  4. Glaze cooked chicken with warm honey mixture and serve.
