Seasoned Oven Fries

Since fast-food fries are out of the question, try a healthier version. This recipe works well with sweet potatoes, although you may want to experiment with the seasonings.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4

  • 2 large Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt-free seasoning or sea salt (if tolerated)
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

  2. Toss potato wedges with oil, salt, and thyme (if using).

  3. Spread the wedges out on a rimmed baking sheet.

  4. Bake until browned and tender, turning once, about 30 minutes.
