Seasoned Oven Fries
Since fast-food fries are out of the question, try a healthier version. This recipe works well with sweet potatoes, although you may want to experiment with the seasonings.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
- 2 large Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt-free seasoning or sea salt (if tolerated)
- ¼ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Toss potato wedges with oil, salt, and thyme (if using).
Spread the wedges out on a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake until browned and tender, turning once, about 30 minutes.
