Tortilla Chips

When you buy tortillas, look for a brand made with only cornmeal, water, and lime juice. Nutritional analysis and exchange approximations will depend on the brand of tortillas and amount of oil you use.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 1

  • 1 nonfat corn tortilla
  • Olive oil Sea salt, to taste (optional)
  • Seasoning blend of your choice, to taste
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Spray both sides of tortilla with olive oil. Season lightly with sea salt or any seasoning blend.

  3. Bake tortilla on cookie sheet until crisp and beginning to brown, 2–5 minutes, depending on thickness of tortilla.

  4. Break tortilla into large pieces.
