Here's a hint. If your dachsie can't get to “it,” she won't chew, scratch, bury, or otherwise destroy whatever “it” is. More importantly, if dangerous, poisonous objects are removed from your wiener dog's radar, you won't have to worry about what she will come up with next in an attempt to visit the emergency veterinary clinic again. If you haven't puppy-proofed your home in a while, take a close look at potential problem areas to make sure your dachshund can't get into trouble.
