Bag of Bagel Chips

Hard, day-old bagels work great for this recipe. Try using cinnamon raisin, blueberry, or other fruited flavors for a sweeter chip.

DIFFICULTY: HARD

Makes about 20–24 bagel chips

3–4 leftover bagels, 1–2 days old ..

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • Slice the bagel in thin circle slices (like chips), about ¼″ thick each.

  • Lay the bagel slices onto a cookie sheet. Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the bagel slices are lightly browned and crispy. Keep cooled bagel chips in an airtight container and grab them for a quick snack.
