2 slices pound cake, cut into cubes
½ cup nondairy whipped topping
4 strawberries, sliced
¼ cup blueberries
Start with a parfait glass, an 8-ounce tall, clear drinking glass, or a decorative glass bowl to build your trifle.
Layer pound cake, whipped topping, and fruit as you choose up and around the glass, reserving 1 tablespoon whipped topping and a strawberry slice for the top.
Top with the reserved whipped topping and strawberry slice.
If you are concerned about using a sharp knife to cup your banana or strawberry, try using an egg slicer instead. It will easily cut through the soft fruit, and you'll get slices that are all the same size.
