Sunflower Seeds Not Just for the Birds

Sunflower seeds, the mainstay of many wild bird feeders and baseball pitchers, are a great source of nutrition for your family. They are great sources of vitamin E and folate, plus a host of minerals. They are also a good source of protein and good fats. So, grind some up into sunflower-seed butter and add them to your recipes for a creamy, health-improving boost.
