Beef Brochettes

If you are using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for about 1 hour before using to help prevent burning or catching them on fire while grilling.

  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 pound beef sirloin or sirloin steak

Skewer Tips

You can also soak the skewers in beef broth for 1 hour, which will provide more flavor while cooking. Or coat the skewer lightly with canola oil, which can withstand the high heat of the grill. Instead of putting meat and vegetables on same skewer, separate onto 2 different skewers since they have different cooking times.
