Chicken Satay for Dogs Recipe
Be sure to have your guests remove the chicken from the skewers before they give them to their dog. The bamboo skewers can splinter if dogs chew on them.

- 2 tablespoons organic chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted natural peanut butter
- 1 chicken breast, cut into thick slices
- 2 teaspoons virgin olive oil
- 6 bamboo skewers
Combine the chicken broth and peanut butter in a glass measuring cup. Using a whisk, stir until the mixture is smooth.
Heat the grill pan over medium heat. Toss the sliced chicken breast in the olive oil, and thread 2 to 3 chicken pieces onto each skewer. Place skewers onto the hot grill. Do not turn until the chicken has grill marks and no longer sticks to the pan. If the chicken sticks, allow it to cook a minute longer.
Remove the grilled chicken and use a silicone pastry brush to lightly coat the chicken with the peanut butter mixture. Return to the grill for another minute or until the peanut butter is set and slightly browned.
