Green Eggs and Ham for Dogs Recipe

If Dr. Seuss had offered his dog a taste of this dish, Sam I Am would never have had a chance to taste it!

SERVING SIZE ► ½ cup
RECOMMENDED FOR ► Wheat- and gluten-free, Quick and easy

  • 1 organic egg, beaten
  • 2 drops green food coloring (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon frozen broccoli, chopped and thawed
  • 1 tablespoon Canadian bacon, cooked and finely chopped, preferably Applegate Farms
  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons organic chicken broth, cold
  1. Use a fork to the beat the egg in a glass measuring cup. Add the food coloring, chopped broccoli, and Canadian bacon.

  2. Heat the canola oil in a small skillet over medium heat.

  3. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet all at once. Continue scrambling the egg with a fork as it cooks. Cook until the egg is firm.

  4. Add the cooked egg mixture to your dog's bowl. Pour in the chicken broth to help cool the mixture.
