Yogurt Popsicles

Once your baby's proven her tolerance for plain yogurt popsicles, dress them up with fruit! Mix mashed bananas, pears, or any other soft fruit into the yogurt before freezing.

8 Servings

1 cup plain whole-fat yogurt, homemade or commercial

1 rack of popsicle molds

  • Stir the yogurt well.

  • Pour into clean popsicle molds, about ¾ of the way full 3. Place in the freezer and let freeze overnight.

Freezing Techniques

If your popsicles aren't freezing well, don't put them in the freezer door — opening and closing the door frequently will prevent an even freeze. Make sure the freezer isn't overcrowded, because that will prevent the cold air from circulating. Also, freeze yogurt popsicles immediately after preparing them.
