Homemade Carrot-Apple Juice by Shana Priwer and Cynthia Phillips
Carrot juice is loaded with antioxidants, so it's a very healthy drink for your baby. For variety, try mixing in ½ cup pear juice. Other tasty flavors you could make include carrot-peach juice or carrot-grape juice.
Yields 12 ounces
1 pound fresh carrots
½ cup prepared or homemade apple juice
Wash and scrub the carrots. Cut off both ends.
Push the carrots through a juicing machine, following the manufacturer's instructions. Catch the juice in a clean cup.
Mix in the apple juice, and stir thoroughly.
Refrigerate the leftovers, and use within 1–2 days.
