Carrot-Apple Purée

Wash, peel, and core the apple. Cut into small chunks.
Wash and peel the carrot. Cut into small pieces and steam for about 15 minutes, or until tender.
Combine apple and carrot in a food processor or blender. Purée for about 30 seconds.
Add apple juice, 1 tablespoon at a time. Continue puréeing until the mixture is smooth.
