Carrot-Banana Smoothie

Here's an excellent way for your child to drink her fruits and vegetables! Many toddlers like carrot juice, so there's no reason not to incorporate it into a fun, summery drink.

2 Servings

½ ripe banana

¼ cup yogurt (regular or soy)

¼ cup milk (regular or soy)

½ cup carrot juice

  • Peel the banana and remove any damaged spots. Cut into slices and place in a blender or food processor.

  • Stir the yogurt well; then add it into the food processor. Then add the milk and carrot juice. Note that soy milk and soy yogurt are perfectly acceptable substitutes for dairy products in this recipe.

  • Blend until the drink is completely smooth.

  • Refrigerate any leftover drink immediately.
