Puréed Tofu with Fruit

When puréeing tofu, go for the soft silken variety of tofu. The firmer bean curds will purée, but may require a little additional liquid and won't be as smooth.

1 Serving

1 ounce silken tofu

1 large strawberry

  • Wash the strawberry and remove the stem.

  • Combine the tofu and the strawberry in a food processor or blender. Purée until smooth.

Freeze That Leftover Tofu

Freezing and thawing tofu tends to make it even more absorbent than it was originally! While adults may not like the soggier texture, it's great for babies who are learning to chew solids. Make a larger dish of tofu, and freeze the leftovers in ice-cube trays or small containers.
