Cranberry Walnut Blondies

These are wonderful plain, but adding the Cream Cheese Frosting takes them to a brand-new level.

INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 12 BROWNIES

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  1. Butter 8" × 8" pan. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Mix melted butter with brown sugar; beat until smooth, then add egg and vanilla.

  3. Add salt and flour; stir until well blended. Fold in cranberries, walnuts, and white chocolate chips.

  4. Bake 20–25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
