Brownie Mix in a Jar
Wipe the inside of the jar after adding the cocoa. If you don’t, the cocoa will coat the inside of the jar and the layers won’t show up.
INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 24 BROWNIES
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 2¼ cups sugar
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1 quart-sized, wide-mouth Mason jar
- Instructions for cardstock
- Raffia
- Cardstock for printing instructions
Mix together baking powder, salt, and flour. Pour into jar.
Add the cocoa powder. Press down firmly.
Add sugar.
Top with pecans.
Close jar; add raffia and printed tag.
