Start looking for comedy clubs and clubs that feature comedy in your area and start to make contact with the people who run those rooms. Approach them and express your interest in performing at their clubs. It will be easier if they've seen you watching shows. They might not think that you are serious about comedy if you walk into a room for the first time and expect to get a date. The more you hang out, the better your chances will be.
