Brainstorm

Try using a list to brainstorm ideas for topics you think you might want to write about, things that interest you. You can choose big events, like a job interview or a vacation trip. But don't overlook the small everyday things as well, like getting a haircut or riding the subway. You can write them as a monologue, a story, or a sketch. Try combining this with other techniques you've learned for maximum effect.
