The few months before college are a great time to start thinking about all the people you want to stay in touch with while at college. While you will probably stay in contact with your friends and immediate family via texting or social networking sites, do not forget those important people in your life who are not connected electronically, such as, perhaps, your grandparents. Send them a card or letter every month or so to let them know how and what you are doing, and call them from time to time to let them know you care and to keep up with family news.
