America is not only the land of the free and the home of the brave, it is a sanctuary for collectors of all stars and stripes. But can anything be more quintessentially American than Americans collecting things firmly rooted in American soil? Americana, as it's called, encompasses all materials and characteristics that are American in nature. In this chapter, we start with political memorabilia.
