Lemondrop
Makes 1 drink
1½ ounces vodka
½ ounce triple sec
3 ounces sweet-n-sour mix
Sugar
Lemon wedge
Try Grand Marnier in this recipe instead of triple sec. You can also vary the garnish by pouring the sugar over the lemon, then the Grand Marnier over that, and then lighting. The sugar melts into the lemon. Bite into the warm sugary lemon slice after drinking the Lemondrop.
Rub the lemon around the rim of a cocktail glass. Dip the rim and the lemon slice into sugar. Pour vodka, triple sec, and sweet-n-sour mix into a shaker tin of ice. Shake, then strain into the sugar-rimmed glass. Raw sugar makes an interesting change, and a lemon-flavored vodka is a nice touch.
