The colors of the Mexican flag stand for hope and victory (green), the purity of ideals (white), and the blood shed by national heroes (red). The flag emblem is an eagle on top of a cactus devouring a serpent.

1. Pour the green crème de menthe into a shot glass.

2. Gently pour the peppermint schnapps over the back of a spoon to layer it slowly on top of the green crème de menthe.

3. Then layer the sloe gin on top of the peppermint schnapps the same way.
