Spicy Jicama Chips

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 10

  • 1 jicama, peeled, quartered, and thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • Salt to taste

Cocktail Complement: Key Lime Pie Margarita

  1. Place the jicama slices in a shallow glass dish and toss with lime juice; allow to marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. Drain the chips. Sprinkle with chili powder, pepper, and salt.

Perky Chips

Place a bowl of your favorite dip in the middle of a colorful platter, then place the chips all around the bowl. For a nice presentation stick the last few chips point side up all around the bowl to create perky chip energy.
