Spicy Jicama Chips
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 10
- 1 jicama, peeled, quartered, and thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon ground red pepper
- Salt to taste
Cocktail Complement: Key Lime Pie Margarita
Place the jicama slices in a shallow glass dish and toss with lime juice; allow to marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Drain the chips. Sprinkle with chili powder, pepper, and salt.
Place a bowl of your favorite dip in the middle of a colorful platter, then place the chips all around the bowl. For a nice presentation stick the last few chips point side up all around the bowl to create perky chip energy.
