This chapter introduces Athena, goddess of war and wisdom. Unlike her bellicose half-brother Ares, Athena preferred peace to war. She preferred settling disputes through reason and intelligence. When war was inevitable, however, Athena was a goddess you'd want on your side. Skilled in strategy and warfare, Athena was both a master tactician and a fierce warrior. She was also a prolific inventor and skilled craftswoman.
