Crumb Crust

This crust can be used to form the base of cream pies, cheesecakes, and ice-cream pies. Other cookies can be substituted for the graham cracker crumbs, such as chocolate wafers, vanilla wafers, or gingersnaps.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 8

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine crumbs, sugar, and salt in a bowl.

  2. Add melted butter to crumb mixture; stir with a rubber spatula to combine.

  3. Press mixture into a 9″ pie pan. Bake for 12 minutes; cool before filling.
