Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese Dipped in Balsamic Vinega
Serve this as an appetizer to a hearty meal or even for dessert. It makes a delightful and surprising combination.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4 to 6
- ¼ to ½ cup very good balsamic vinegar
- ¼ to ½ pound piece of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
Pour balsamic vinegar into a dipping bowl, or separate dipping bowls for each guest.
Arrange Parmigiano-Reggiano on a plate with small paring knives or Parmigiano knives.
Dip small pieces of Parmigiano-Reggiano in vinegar and eat.
